Wild On! Parkersburg
Whoa, so much to say, so little time to write my blog while my boss isn't looking.
So, I decided the other night that I'm never not going out with the girls again, because I might miss a dance off! Yes, that's right, a dance off happened in Parkersburg and I missed it. What a crock of shit. I may never get over that. I'm going to try to get Deanna to work on her Britney costume/dance routine and I will put together my Christina (or maybe Janet) costume/dance rountine and we will have a dance off next Halloween. We only have nine months to get this together. We'd better start now!
And before I forget let me also say this...
BEE RAD is going DOWN!
Deanna and I found a new game, Trip Flip, which we managed to play the hell out of all night long.
We currently hold positions 2-8 on the machine at the My Way. Fucking BEE RAD has first place. We were soooo close to winning it though. We peaked early and kept playing. We should've stoped once we started out down slope, but that shit is addictive, and also there was a 12-pack at stake. We didn't win it, or go back to glare BEE RAD as he/she/they accepted the prize. But we did play some of the naked girlie games and managed to make the high score on all but one because we didn't want to use up all our credits.
So the next morning I'm about to take Deanna to work, and as I go to grab the keys out of my purse I find a Shocking Erotic Photo! Deanna and I bought porn in the bathroom and she somehow managed to sneak it into my purse without me noticing and it was still there the next morning. Sneaky, sneaky!
Since rent is finally all paid up, maybe we'll claim victory tonight. But if Emily calls I need to get my 'Building Good Credit' presentation together. I've gotten a list of links together for the credit concious person. Have a look see:
- National Tax Advice Day - H&R Block created their own holiday on Jan 12. I went here to estimate my tax return. If you're really into deductions and stuff like that you'll probably find this site more useful than I did, but it is a good place to go to see how much you're getting back before you actually file.
- Annual Credit Report - This is a free place where you can check your credit from all three major credit reporting agencies. And this one is actually free, no strings attached. The only thing they'll require you to pay for is your credit score. That would probably be handly if you planned on purchasing a car or home in the near future and it's only about $10 from each place, so probably worth it to weigh your options. Otherwise, it's just a good place to grab a copy of your credit report to make sure everything is correct.
- CNN's Money 101 course - Full of useful tools such as a budget calculator. My favorite, the Millionaire caculator and lots of great tips on saving and using debt wisely.
